The FountAIn home page: a white porcelain urinal on a plinth signed "M. AIh", next to the title and "Unlimited generation. Optional intention."

Why

After twenty years of making things for the web, watching AI reshape my work left me a bit speechless. And when words fail me, I turn to art: Marcel Duchamp’s Fountain, an ordinary object, a signature, a change of context.

What it is

A procedural porcelain sculpture, signed M. AIh, that never changes. What changes is its meaning: press Generate meaning and a new curatorial justification appears; press Flush the excess when there are enough. Unlimited generation. Optional intention. Edition 001 / ∞.

The twist

The site is made with AI, and says so: “Made with AI. The problem is included.” Yet the meanings are not generated by a model: they are satire assembled locally, in the browser, with no model calls and no prompts collected. Using AI to make a website about AI slop is part of the contradiction.
