Context
A recurring pattern in Amazon Advertising is the Product Selector: a short survey that helps users choose the right product. Each one used to be designed and coded from scratch for its campaign. After meeting the second custom-coded one, I replaced them with a scalable configurator: it cut execution time by 52% and generated $18M in revenue within a year.
Problem
The Product Selector was still too simple: a tree of branches, where each answer leads to the next question. Good for picking a printer, not for engaging people through their preferences and identities.
Key decision: weights, not branches
Quizzo was born together with an Amazon designer: we worked as a pair to find the best balance between the experience and how much it can be configured. The hard part was the logic: a weighted path instead of the classic branching tree. Every answer adds points to one or more outcomes, and the result is the profile with the highest score, so a quiz can be playful and still land on the right product.
For the end user, it is an enjoyable multi-step survey.

For every kind of author
Visual people, designers and coders all get what they need: templates, starting points, and a ton of customization if you want to go full banana.
I also wrote a small JavaScript library to handle lighting and shadows on the buttons, so good-looking effects come with a few sliders.
